Job Title: Storekeeper
Location: Ogijo, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time


Description

* The storekeeper will be responsible for managing a store's inventory, including receiving, storing, and distributing goods.
* They ensure the safe custody of all inventory, maintain accurate records, and keep the store organized and efficient.
* Key responsibilities include receiving and inspecting deliveries, tracking stock.


Functions

* Inventory Management: Receiving, storing, and distributing goods while maintaining accurate records of stock levels.
* Storage and Organization: Ensuring proper storage of goods, maintaining a neat and organized store layout, and adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
* Record Keeping: Maintaining receipts, records, and withdrawals of stock, and generating reports on stock levels.
* Inspections and Reporting: Inspecting deliveries for damage or discrepancies, reporting issues to the appropriate personnel, and rotating stock to prevent expiry.
* Safety and Security: Ensuring a safe working environment, following safety protocols, and preventing loss or damage to inventory.


Requirements

Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with experience.
Must Have Skills:

* Computer Literacy: Proficiency in using inventory management software and other relevant computer systems.
* Inventory Management: The ability to track, organize, and control stock levels effectively.
* Analytical and problem-solving abilities in solving stores issues related to inventory, storage, or deliveries.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Adaptability and flexibility.
