Job Title: Finance Officer
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Purpose

* Responsible for preparing financial statements and reports for the Bank to determine its financial performance.


Key Responsibilities

* Prepare financial statement statements for the Bank (daily, weekly, monthly, bi-annually).
* Produce daily management accounts for the Bank.
* Operate and ensure accuracy and completeness of all entries.
* Prepare daily financial dashboard for management.
* Prepare industry comparative reports of financial position and variance explanations.
* Prepare segment-based deposit report.
* Prepare Bank reconciliation schedules.
* Carry out analytical review of financial reports (including ratios for liquidity, capital adequacy, earnings and stability).
* Undertake month-end financial reporting activities including accruals, prepayment amortization, and fixed assets depreciation.
* Update and maintain Fixed Asset Register.
* Participate in the implementation of audit work plans and liaise with external auditors in providing audit requirement for year end audit.
* Review and analyze cost, expenses and budget control.
* General ledger review and maintenance.


Requirements

* First Degree in a numerate or business-related discipline.
* Professional qualifications include but are not limited to the following: ACA, ACCA, CIBN, CFA etc are mandatory.
* Minimum of 3 years work experience in financial management function within the Financial Services Industry.


Knowledge:

* Knowledge of Mortgage Bank’s operations/services/products.
* Knowledge of accounting and auditing processes.
* Knowledge of banking regulatory guidelines.
* Knowledge of the banking industry.

Salary
N3,100,000 – N5,100,000 Annually.
