Job Title: Legal & Compliance Lead
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time


Job Summary

* We are looking for a smart, strategic, and business-savvy Legal & Compliance Lead to take ownership of all legal, regulatory, and risk-related matters across our operations.
* This is a full-time role for a self-starter who’s ready to build internal legal systems, protect company interests, and ensure legal compliance in areas ranging from real estate transactions to short-stay operations, contract reviews, regulatory engagement, and risk advisory.


What You’ll Be Doing

* Reviewing property titles, deeds, and land documentation
* Drafting contracts (sales, MOUs, vendor, employment, etc.)
* Leading legal due diligence for property verification
* Managing compliance with FCCPC and other regulations
* Advising on disputes, agreements, and risk exposures
* Training teams and setting up internal legal structures.


What You’ll Need

* LLB and called to the Nigerian Bar (3–6 years post-call)
* Strong grasp of Nigerian land/property laws
* Solid contract drafting and negotiation skills
* Sharp thinking, business focus, and problem-solving ability
* Experience in real estate, startup, or service businesses is a strong plus.
