We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Manager
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time


Job Summary

The Sales Manager plays a critical role in growing the company’s market presence, building customer relationships, and driving revenue targets.
This role involves developing sales strategies, managing direct sales channels (B2B or bulk orders), and identifying growth opportunities through customer acquisition, partnerships, and brand visibility.
The Sales Manager will work closely with production and operations to ensure order fulfillment aligns with capacity and logistics timelines.


Responsibilities

* Deep understanding of customer behavior, especially within food retail or hospitality.
* Ability to balance growth goals with operational and production realities.
* CRM usage and basic data analysis for sales forecasting and reporting.
* Resilience and adaptability in a competitive market.
* Market expansion: Acquire at least 1 new bulk/corporate client per month.
* Sales reporting: Submit accurate weekly and monthly reports with sales insights and pipeline updates.


Requirements

* A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Minimum of 4 years’ experience in sales, with at least 2 years in food or FMCG sales.
* Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Familiarity with CRM systems and modern sales tools.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, when necessary.


Core Skill Set:

Strong persuasive communication and negotiation skills.

Key Result Areas (KRAs):

* Lead all direct sales activities and manage the sales pipeline across individual and corporate customer segments.
* Build and maintain customer relationships to improve retention and encourage repeat business.
* Develop and execute sales campaigns, promotions, and outreach activities tailored to different customer types.
* Provide accurate sales forecasts and performance reports to management.
* Work with the production team to ensure that sales commitments align with available stock and production schedules.
* Identify new revenue streams or customer segments and support product positioning efforts.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

* Monthly sales revenue: Achieve 100% of monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
* Customer retention rate: Maintain a repeat purchase rate of 60% or higher.
* Sales conversion rate: Convert at least 20% of qualified leads into paying customers.
* Fulfillment rate: 98% of confirmed orders fulfilled on schedule without quality or delivery issues.


Salary
N150,000 - N250,000 Monthly.
