Job Title: Ward Assistant
Location: Orogun - Ibadan, Oyo

Job Summary

This role is ideal for individuals with a background in community health who are committed to making a difference in a hospital environment.


Key Responsibilities

* Assist nursing staff with basic patient care and mobility.
* Support patients with personal hygiene, feeding, and general comfort.
* Maintain a clean and safe ward environment.
* Help in transporting patients, supplies, and equipment as needed.
* Follow hospital hygiene, safety, and infection control protocols.
* Uphold patient dignity, confidentiality, and respect at all times.


Requirements

* CHEW (Community Health Extension Worker) qualification is preferred.
* Previous experience in a care or healthcare environment is an advantage.
* Basic understanding of hygiene, safety, and patient confidentiality.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Physically fit and able to perform lifting or moving tasks.
