We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Customer Service Agent
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time


Responsibilties

* Educate customers on the benefits of the product and Services offerings and assist them in selecting the most suitable products/services based on their needs.
* Drive sales of mobile money (MoMo) services by explaining the convenience and security of digital transactions and assisting customers in setting up accounts.
* Assist clients with enrollment and registration.
* Meet or exceed sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set by the company.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.
* Remain informed about market trends, product advancements, and rivalry to strategically place our products.
* Share your thoughts with management regarding market developments, consumer preferences, and areas that could want improvement.
* Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and escalate issues as needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, customer interactions, and inventory levels.
* Cross sell other products and services.
* Generate interest in new products or services and connect customers with salespeople when require
* Foster and maintain relationships with customers to improve our retention rate.
* Activity and task reporting on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
* Attend all required customer service-related meetings
* Perform mathematical calculations regarding sales and inventory.


Requirements

* Minimum of SSCE.
* 1 - 3 years proven experience in sales, preferably in the telecommunications, Mobile Money or related industry.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with diverse customer groups.
* Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills with a focus on closing sales.
* Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and a drive to succeed.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Familiarity with mobile technology, digital payments, and government identification processes is desirable.
* Proficiency in using sales software, CRM systems, and basic computer applications.
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate customer needs.
* Integrity, honesty, and a commitment to upholding ethical business practices.
