About the Role

A reputable private school is seeking a visionary and experienced Principal to provide strategic leadership and academic oversight.
The ideal candidate will drive excellence in teaching, foster a positive learning environment, and ensure smooth school operations aligned with both Nigerian and international educational standards.


Key Responsibilities

* Provide overall leadership and direction for academic and administrative staff
* Oversee the implementation of a blended curriculum (British and Nigerian)
* Monitor teaching quality and student academic performance
* Manage student discipline and promote a safe, inclusive environment
* Supervise staff development, performance reviews, and training
* Coordinate school operations, budgeting, and resource allocation
* Foster effective communication with parents, staff, and external stakeholders
* Lead school improvement initiatives and drive innovation
* Ensure compliance with all education regulations and standards
* Represent the school in community events and external partnerships


Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master’s preferred)
* Minimum of 10years’ teaching experience and 5 years in a leadership role
* Strong understanding of both Nigerian and British curricula
* Proven leadership, organizational, and team-building skills
* Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
* Experience with school administration and staff supervision
* TRCN certification
