Toasties Limited is a fast-casual dining restaurant chain located in Lagos, Nigeria. We specialize in hot toasted fusion sandwiches and offer a range of specials. Our focus is to bring out-of-the-box meal selections to Lagos’ on-the-go consumer. We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Call Centre Agent
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time


Job Description

We are looking for a customer-focused Call Centre Agent to manage incoming calls, take customer orders, and provide timely support across all communication channels.
You will be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring a smooth and satisfying ordering experience that reflects the Toasties standard of service.


Key Responsibilities

* Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
* Take detailed and accurate food orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen team using our order management system.
* Provide information on menu items, daily specials, and promotional offers.
* Handle order issues, complaints, and customer feedback with empathy and efficiency.
* Confirm orders placed online or via third-party platforms to avoid errors or duplication.
* Communicate delays or changes in orders clearly and proactively.
* Follow call scripts and customer service guidelines to maintain brand tone and quality.
* Maintain records of customer interactions and transactions.
* Work closely with kitchen, dispatch, and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
* Support outbound calls for order confirmations, follow-ups, or feedback collection as needed.


Key Skills & Qualifications

* Minimum of SSCE / OND; additional training in customer service is a plus.
* 1 - 2 years experience in a customer service or call centre role, preferably in food or hospitality.
* Excellent verbal communication skills in English (additional local languages a plus).
* Strong listening skills and attention to detail.
* Good typing and multitasking abilities.
* Familiarity with POS or order management systems (experience with food delivery platforms is an advantage).
* Calm, patient, and able to work well under pressure.
