Job Summary:

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Litigation Clerk (Male) to join our legal team. The successful candidate will assist attorneys with all aspects of litigation, including case preparation, document management, and court filings. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and a commitment to providing excellent support to our legal team.


Key Responsibilities:

* Document Management: Organize and maintain files for active litigation cases, ensuring all documents are properly filed and easily accessible.
* Case Preparation: Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions, including gathering and organizing evidence, drafting legal documents, and preparing trial binders.
* Court Filings: File legal documents with courts, both electronically and in person, ensuring compliance with all court rules and deadlines.
* Client Interaction: Communicate with clients to gather necessary information, schedule meetings, and provide updates on case status as directed by attorneys.
* Research: Conduct legal research using online resources and legal databases to support case strategy and development.
* Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence.
* Any other duty assigned from time to time.


Qualifications:

* Education: OND or its equivalent


Experience: Previous experience in a legal environment is highly desirable. Minimum of 2 years.


Skills:

* Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
* Candidate must be very knowledgeable about parts of Lagos State.


Salary: N 100,000 net monthly
