Job summary:

The Records Officer is responsible for organizing, maintaining, and securing both physical and electronic company records. They ensure compliance with regulatory standards, support audits, and uphold proper documentation practices. The role requires attention to detail, confidentiality, and coordination with various departments. Experience in pharmaceutical or regulated environments is an advantage.


Key Responsibilities:

* Organize and maintain comprehensive filing systems for both physical and digital documents.
* Ensure timely and secure retrieval of records as needed by authorized personnel.
* Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive company information.
* Monitor record retention schedules and ensure timely archiving or disposal of outdated records in line with regulatory and company policies.
* Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation promptly.
* Coordinate with departments such as HR, Regulatory Affairs, etc, to ensure proper record keeping practices.
* Perform periodic reviews and audits of records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.


Qualifications & Skills:

* HND/B.Sc in Library Science, Business Administration, Records Management, or related field.
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a pharmaceutical company
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
