The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a reliable quantity surveyor to join our capable team of professionals. The quantity surveyor will lead the design, review, planning and execution of PHC construction and refurbishment projects.
The role combines technical oversight with strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and fundraising support.


WHAT YOU’LL DO

Manage end-to-end healthcare construction and renovation projects
Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.
Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.
Advising managers and clients on improvements and new strategies.
Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.
Support procurement and oversee facility handover.
Maintain financial records, monitor cash flows, and report to donors.
Support recruitment of institutional and individual adopters.
Prepare project briefs and represent PSHAN in donor meetings.
Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
Traveling from the office to various sites as required.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Engineering, Construction Management, or similar.
5 Years plus of Relevant Experience
Skilled in stakeholder engagement, budgeting, and reporting.
Construction estimating or finance experienced is advantageous.
Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Sound knowledge of construction.
Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.
Ability to organize, plan, and strategize.
