Job Purpose

To supervise day-to-day poultry processing operations, ensuring efficient workflow, quality output, compliance with food safety regulations, and achievement of production targets.


Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily chicken processing activities including slaughtering, evisceration, chilling, portioning, and packaging.
Ensure staff follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety, and hygiene guidelines.
Monitor shift operations and ensure timely completion of production targets.
Supervise production line staff, including casual workers.
Report production data, line performance, and daily output to management.
Identify issues and liaise with maintenance, logistics, or quality teams as needed.
Ensure proper handling of raw materials and finished products.
Maintain production documentation and compliance logs.


Qualifications & Experience

OND. in Animal Science, Food Technology, Agricultural Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in poultry or meat processing environment.
Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, and other food safety standards.
Hands-on supervisory experience in a production or factory environment.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-output environment.
