Mission

To coordinate network regional technical management to achieve regional operations alignment with business objectives.
To manage effective quality assurance on the operational activities of Manage service Vendors, Tower Providers and other third-party service providers.

Description

* Coordinate assigned regional technical management teams for effective execution of NWG strategic objectives.
* Overall responsibility for ensuring end of life assets is replaced/ overhauled in an efficient manner to achieve sustained availability/ quality and minimum exclusion claims by manages services Vendors.
* Coordinate the management of Manages Services Vendors in the regions by putting in place and monitoring effective quality assurance framework.
* Identify high level training requirements of team members, develop programs to address knowledge gaps and to enrich knowledge repository within the department.
* Ensure effective provision of resources for Network functions in the region to achieve set objectives.
* Overall responsibility for National 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G availability, site routine maintenance, and site asset management
* Cascade and monitor execution of NW strategic objectives to regional operations teams
* Prepare regional operations input into annual site build and upgrade plan.
* Prepare/Own NRC annual CAPEX and OPEX budget
* Review the performance of individual team members and complete appraisals in accordance with the employee performance appraisal procedures and time schedules.
* Coach and train the Regional Operations team to ensure understanding of the objectives and goals of the department, awareness of set targets/requirements and regularly review their training needs.

Requirements
Education:

* First Degree in Engineering or related discipline
* Master’s degree Advantageous
* Fluent in English and language of country preferable.

Experience:
9 - 17 years’ experience which includes:

* Manage track record of 5 years or more; with at least 3 years in relevant sector/ industry
* Worked across diverse cultures and geographies advantageous
* Experience in managing Telecoms Network Operations and maintenance/ Quality assurance.
