Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will perform laboratory tests, analyze samples, and maintain equipment to support accurate diagnoses and patient care.

Responsibilities

* Conduct laboratory tests and procedures according to standard protocols.
* Collect, process, and analyze biological samples (blood, urine, tissue, etc.).
* Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, and machinery.
* Record and report test results accurately and efficiently.
* Perform quality control checks to ensure equipment functionality.
* Collaborate with laboratory personnel and healthcare professionals.
* Adhere to safety protocols, regulations, and standards.

Qualification and Experience

* Diploma or Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology.
* Relevant experience in a laboratory setting (clinical or research).
* Certification (e.g., MLT, CLT) preferred.

Other Requirements:

* Compliance with laboratory safety protocols.
* Ability to lift and move equipment/materials.
* Flexibility for shift work (if applicable).
* Continuous learning and professional development.

Certifications/ Licenses:

MLT (Medical Laboratory Technician) certification.
State-specific licenses (if required).

Skills:

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Attention to detail and organizational abilities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS).
