Royal Air Maroc is hiring an Accountant in Lagos to strengthen our airline finance team. If you excel at reconciling sales, monitoring cashflows, preparing SAP reports, and ensuring regulatory compliance, this permanent position offers career-building exposure to one of Africa’s fastest-growing aviation networks.

.Reconcile multi-channel airline sales – match cash and card collections from RAM Counter, E-Ticket Direct and RTS against daily sales reports.
.Own the full accounts-receivable cycle for travel agencies and corporate clients: prepare ageing schedules, escalate overdue balances to the Country General Manager, and track recoveries in a centralised receivables dashboard.
.Control SAP P2P disbursements – validate purchase requests, monitor three-way matches, and post vendor payments in SAP FI in line with company purchasing policy.
.Track locally paid OPEX & petty-cash; analyse variances and support monthly cost-control reviews.
.Maintain audit-ready ledgers in SAP FI, fully compliant with Moroccan & Nigerian GAAP.
.Prepare bank reconciliations and daily cash-position reports for sign-off by the expatriate Finance Manger.
.File timely tax & social-security returns in partnership with our external tax advisers; ensure 100 % statutory compliance.
.Resolve payment or billing disputes in coordination with the General Manager and company legal.
.Compile FX fund-transfer packs for HQ approval and monitor settlement status.
.Digitise, file and archive financial documents to meet aviation-industry record-keeping standards.

Required profile for job ad : Junior Accountant - Lagos
Desired Profile :

.B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance or related field (minimum Bac + 3 or equivalent).
.2+ years’ accounting or audit experience – preferably in an airline, Big 4 firm, or large SAP-based organisation.
.Hands-on knowledge of SAP Finance/FI or another leading ERP (e.g., Oracle, MS Dynamics).
.Advanced Excel & reconciliation skills or similar a plus.
.Chartered or part-qualified ACA/ACCA/ICAN candidates strongly preferred.
.Proven rigour, autonomy, organisational flair and analytical mindset; able to deliver under tight financial-reporting deadlines.
