Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial planning and management of the operations of our manufacturing company which is quoted on the stock exchange. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing financial strategy, reporting, budgeting, and risk management, ensuring the company’s financial strength and supporting sustainable growth.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business goals.
2. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
3. Oversee accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls.
4. Monitor and manage cash flow, capital expenditures, and working capital.
5. Analyse financial performance and recommend improvements to increase profitability and reduce costs.
6. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and industry standards.
7. Collaborate with executive leadership to guide business decisions using financial data.
8. Manage relationships with banks, auditors, investors, and regulatory bodies.
9. Support strategic initiatives, such as mergers, acquisitions, and capital investments.


Requirements:

1. Minimum of 15 years of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Experience in a manufacturing or FMCG company is preferred
2. Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost structures, supply chain finance, and operational finance.
3. Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) or a relevant professional financial qualification.
4. An MBA or other relevant postgraduate qualification is a plus.
5. Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
6. Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills for financial modelling and reporting.
