Job Summary
Montage Africa Agro Allied Company Ltd. seeks an experienced and proactive Factory Manager to oversee our maize flour processing operations. The successful candidate will ensure high-quality production standards, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency in line with local and international food safety standards. This is a senior-level role, ideal for a hands-on leader with a strong background in flour milling or grain processing.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the daily operations of the maize flour processing facility.
2. Manage production lines, ensuring maximum productivity and minimal downtime.
3. Ensure compliance with NAFDAC, SON, and ECOWAS food industry regulations.
4. Implement and monitor HACCP, GMP, and ISO 22000 standards across all operations.
5. Supervise, train, and evaluate plant personnel.
6. Manage inventory of raw materials and finished products.
7. Coordinate maintenance and servicing of machinery and equipment.
8. Drive continuous improvement strategies for efficiency, safety, and quality.


Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, Microbiology, or related discipline (Master’s or MBA is an advantage).
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in food manufacturing, including 3 years in a management or supervisory capacity.
3. Strong knowledge of maize milling, grain handling, and quality assurance practices.
4. Certification in Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS), ISO 22000, or HACCP is preferred.
5. Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
