Alaba Shonibare & Co is a privately held real estate development and management firm based in Lagos, Nigeria. Established in 1990, the company has a rich history rooted in the development of Shonibare Estate, one of Nigeria’s earliest private housing estates, founded by Chief S. O. Shonibare over 60 years ago.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Security Officer

Location: Maryland, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

Patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security of the property and occupants.
Monitor surveillance cameras and access control systems.
Check and verify identification of visitors, staff, and contractors before granting access.
Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents.
Complete daily security logs and incident reports accurately and on time.
Ensure that all gates, doors, and windows are secured after hours.
Report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or maintenance issues to management.
Assist with emergency evacuations, fire drills, and first aid if required.
Enforce company security policies and procedures.
Support traffic and crowd control during peak hours or special events.

Requirements

Candidates should possess relevant qualifications in a related field with experience.

Salary
N50,000 - N60,000 / Month.
