The Coalition for Democracy and Development has called on the FCT Minister Nyesom Wike and the suspended Governor, Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara to put aside their differences and sign a new peace pact within the next 90 days.

The CDD condemned both Wike and Fubara urging them to prioritise the welfare of the people in the midst of the political crisis.

In a statement signed by the Public Secretary, CDD, Dr. George Ifure, he lamented the political crisis in Rivers State, adding that the ongoing crisis is a clear indication of the failure of leadership.

To resolve the crisis, the CDD also called on President Tinubu and the National Assembly to establish a committee comprising eminent Nigerians who can mediate and find a lasting solution.
