Nollywood actress Folorunsho Adeola, popularly known as Arike Gold, has shared her thoughts on the importance of self-motivation and hard work, emphasizing that success is not solely dependent on a man.

In a recent interview on the “Talk to B” show, Arike Gold opened up about her personal journey and the lessons she’s learned along the way. “I love money too much,” she confessed. “It took me some time to realize that sometimes it’s not a man that will make you; you have to push yourself. If you push yourself to a certain level, a man can then say, ‘I like this girl, she is very hardworking,’ and they might come in to support you. But first, you have to believe in pushing yourself.”

The actress reflected on the reality that not everyone gets the same opportunities or luck in life. “Some people are lucky; not all of us are. Some people get help without even asking, and you start questioning yourself: ‘Am I not good enough? This girl isn’t even as beautiful as me.’ But the truth is, if you have money, you can do everything that others are doing. For some of us, we have to work hard to get there.”

In addition to her acting career, Arike Gold revealed that her love for financial independence has driven her to explore other business ventures. “I love money, so I have other businesses,” she added, highlighting her entrepreneurial spirit
