Troops of Operation Fansan Yanma have eliminated a notorious bandit kingpin, Yusuf Gwamna, during a fierce encounter in the Dutsin-Ma area of Katsina State.

Intelligence sources informed Zagazola Makama on Monday that several other terrorists were also neutralized in the operation.

Gwamna had long been a high-profile criminal, orchestrating numerous attacks, kidnappings, and violent crimes across Katsina and neighboring states.

His reign of terror had instilled fear among local communities, making his elimination a significant victory in the ongoing fight against banditry.
