The Federal Capital Territory Commissioner of Police, Olatunji Disu, has vowed to eliminate criminals exploiting the territory’s challenging terrains to carry out unlawful activities.

He made this statement after leading an extensive operational assessment of crime-prone areas, including the Guzape-Asokoro Bypass, Kpaduma, Kugbo, Gbaglape, and Nyanya Hills.

According to a statement released on Saturday by the command’s spokesperson, Josephine Adeh, the visit followed recent incidents of kidnapping and other criminal activities.

Adeh explained that the tour aimed to identify security vulnerabilities, map out criminal hideouts, and reinforce security measures to prevent further crimes.

Accompanied by senior officers and local vigilante groups, the FCT Police Chief engaged with community leaders and residents to develop effective interventions.
