LAGOS – The Federation of Tourism Association of Nigeria (FTAN), has called on the National Institute of Hospitality and Tourism (NIHOTOUR) to organise a stakeholders’ forum where all the issues affecting the sector would be addressed.

Nkereuwem Onung, President of FTAN, made the request on Thursday during a courtesy visit to Aare Abisoye Fagade, the Director General of NIHOTOUR in Abuja.

FTAN is the representative of private sector within the Nigeria’s tourism industry.

Onung during the visit, commended Fagade for his proactive leadership, describing him as pivotal to the industry’s progress.

He reaffirmed FTAN’s stance on collaboration with government agencies, emphasising the association’s readiness to work hand-in-hand with the organisation to advance industry development.

He urged NIHOTOUR to prioritise its revitalisation, citing its potential benefits for industry growth.
