President Bola Tinubu has assented to two separate bills establishing the Federal University of Agriculture and Development Studies, Iragbiji, Osun State, and the Federal University of Technology and Environmental Sciences, Iyin Ekiti, Ekiti State.

A statement issued on Thursday by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, quoted President Tinubu as stating that these specialised institutions would address the educational needs of the populace.

According to the presidency, both universities will drive research and innovation while contributing to the country’s overall economic growth and development.
