Job Title: Accountant
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Summary

* We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant with 2–3 years of professional experience to manage our day-to-day financial operations.
* The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting the company’s financial health.


Key Responsibilities

* Record daily financial transactions and maintain general ledger entries.
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
* Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow activities.
* Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and tax regulations.
* Process invoices, expense claims, and petty cash.
* Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.
* Support external audits and prepare necessary documentation.
* File statutory returns (VAT, PAYE, WHT, etc.) in a timely and accurate manner.
* Collaborate with internal departments for financial planning and analysis.


Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* 2–3 years of hands-on accounting experience in a similar role.
* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Excel).
* Strong understanding of Nigerian tax laws and financial regulations.
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Good communication and interpersonal abilities.


Salary
N180,000 gross Monthly.
