Job Title: Accounting Officer
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time


Responsibilities

* Assist in preparing, examining, and analysing accounting records and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
* Appraise, evaluate, and take inventory of company assets while maintaining an asset register.
* Recording, Reconcile, and Post Petty cash and Fuel imprest.
* Reconciliation of payments and receipts
* Confirmation of customer deposits and Issuance of receipts
* Manage all accounting transaction.
* Administering payrolls and controlling income and expenditure
* Auditing financial information
* Compiling and presenting reports, budgets, business plans, commentaries and financial statements.
* Any other related tasks as may be assigned.


Requirements

* HND / B.Sc Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* 2+ years post NYSC experience in a relevant accounting role.
* Experience with accounting software is an added advantage.
* Must be analytical, pay attention to detail and excellent customer service.
* Knowledge and competency in accounting principles
