Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim, has taken the decision to ban four players from the pre-season tour of the US.

According to the Daily Mail, those affected are: Alejandro Garnacho, Marcus Rashford, Antony and Jadon Sancho.

The quartet will be made to train alone at Carrington, if they fail to find new clubs by the time the tour starts in July.


Amorim wants to refresh most of his attack ahead of his first full season at Old Trafford.

The former Sporting boss endured a dreadful first campaign at United, as they finished in 15th place – their lowest position since they suffered relegation in 1974.

The Red Devils also lost 1-0 to Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final last month.

This means United will not be in any European competition for only the second time in 35 years.

A summer rebuild has began with United sealing a £62.5 million deal for Matheus Cunha earlier this month, while they are heavily linked with Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo.
