The Redeemed Christian Church of God has charged men on the need to live purposeful and holistic lives to fulfil their kingdom mandate and contribute meaningfully to national development and family life.

This charge was made during Anchor 2025, a men’s conference, organised by RCCG Redeemer’s Men Fellowship, Lagos Province 16, with the theme: “Unleashed for Kingdom Positioning”.

Speaking at the event, the Pastor-in-Charge of the Province, and Chairman of RMF, Pastor Biyi Famoyegun, described the conference as an annual platform designed to help men to become more impactful in their homes, workplaces, and communities.

“People complain that churches are increasing in number, but looking at society, things are getting worse. We, therefore, decided to focus attention on the men in the church to equip them with the necessary requirements to live an exemplary life so that society will be a better place.

“This is our vision, and to the glory of God, we are seeing improvements on a yearly basis, and this is our third outing. We are trusting the Lord to continue raising total men of husbands and fathers who know what the Lord expects of them in raising godly children who will be financially viable and be a plus to society,” Famoyegun said.

He added that beyond spiritual development, the church also organised empowerment programmes for men to help them achieve financial stability.

Also speaking, the General Secretary of Lagos Province 16 and RMF, Charles Okeibunor, said the empowerment efforts also included community-driven initiatives, such as collecting unused home appliances from members and reselling them at subsidised rates to those in need.

Delivering a lecture at the event, a legal expert, Titi Adegbile, charged men on the importance of drafting a will, not as a response to illness or death, but as a proactive step to prevent legal complications for loved ones in the future.
