An Information Technology programme manager, Obianuju Udeagbala, has called on organisations to embed continuous learning into their culture, to ensure successful technology adoption and sustainable growth.

Speaking on her experience managing high-stakes digital project across Africa, Udeagbala said the secret to driving change lay in empowering people through education and skills development.

“To truly harness the benefits of digital transformation, organisations must make continuous learning a strategic priority—through certification sponsorships, knowledge-sharing forums, and access to modular learning platforms.”

She stressed that the rapid evolution of digital tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Notion AI required an agile and adoptable workforce.

“Emerging technologies are changing the game, but legacy systems and skill gaps remain real challenges.”

“That is why fostering a culture of learning is not optional; it’s essential for survival and relevance,” she said.

Udeagbala believed that the future of digital transformation would be shaped by cross-industry ecosystems, where collaboration and knowledge exchange drive innovation.
