Werder Bremen defender Felix Agu is looking forward to getting more opportunities to play for the Super Eagles, DAILY POST reports.

Agu, who once represented Germany at the youth level, was recently cleared to play for the three-time African champions.

The full-back made his debut for the Super Eagles against the Reggae Boys of Jamaica on Saturday.


The 25-year-old was happy with the way he was received by his new international teammates.

Agu stated that he is keen to play for the team in future.

“It was a good week overall,” Agu told Werder.de.

“I was given a warm welcome by the team and I’m looking forward to more chances in the future.”
