Bendel Insurance technical adviser, Greg Ikhenoba says his team never planned for the draw against Nasarawa United.

The Benin Arsenals played out a 1-1 draw against Nasarawa United at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium on Sunday.

“This is not what we bargained for – but sometimes, you lose, and some other times, you win,” Ikhenoba said after the game.


“We lost our last game on the road, but we were held to a draw at home today – such is football.”

Bendel Insurance have lost thrice in their last 12 league matches.

The team will travel to Jos to take on Plateau United in their next league game this weekend.
