President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the President/Chief Executive of Dangote Industries Ltd, Aliko Dangote, on his 68th birthday.

Tinubu’s message was contained in a statement by his Special Adviser to the President on Information & Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, on Wednesday, titled ‘President Tinubu congratulates Aliko Dangote, Africa’s industrial icon, on his birthday’.

Tinubu praised Dangote for his vision, hard work and dedication to transforming Africa’s economy.

He highlighted Dangote’s many contributions, especially in Nigeria, where his businesses, ranging from cement manufacturing to agriculture, have greatly supported the country’s push for economic self-sufficiency.

He noted that one of his key projects, the Dangote Refinery, has also created thousands of jobs.

The President also acknowledged Dangote’s charity work through the Dangote Foundation, which has helped improve the lives of millions of underprivileged Africans.

“Aliko Dangote’s life embodies hard work, generosity, and faith in Nigeria’s potential. His willingness to invest in people and nation-building reflects profound business ingenuity and love for humanity,” said Tinubu.

The President prayed for continued success, wisdom, and good health for Dangote, wishing him many more years of impact.

He also encouraged young Nigerians to draw inspiration from Dangote’s achievements and resilience.
