The National Association of Nigeria Travel Agencies is set to discuss specific industry-based challenges believed to be confronting the downstream part of the aviation sector and the industry at large.

The agents who recently joined the United Federation of Travel Agents’ Associations will discuss the challenges at the UFTAA’s Annual General Meeting scheduled to be held in Lagos on Wednesday (today).

A statement by the media consultant to the association said that NANTA and other participants would deliberate on key efforts geared towards institutionalising protective measures to insulate and deflate the strange travel trade market viruses troubling the sector.

The agents also said that participants would also discuss the opportunities to share and spread prosperity to its members at the conference.

The non-elective 49th AGM of the association is themed ‘Collective Prosperity Through Market Protection’.

Other key speakers at the event include the President of UFTAA, Mr. Sunil Kumar, Dr. Kemi Pinheiro and Dr Joseph Kithitu, President of the Kenya Association of Travel Agents.

NANTA was recently readmitted into the fold of the global travel trade industry association, promising a problem-solving deliberation.
