Former Chelsea star, Jason Cundy has singled out Chelsea midfielder, Enzo Fernandez for special praise.

This comes after Fernandez’s impressive display for the Blues against Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday.

The Argentina international scored the only goal as Chelsea defeated Spurs 1-0 in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge.


“We know Enzo can do this… He is in there on his own. It is a brilliant header,” Cundy said via the official Chelsea application.

“Enzo, I said the first half he was everywhere, he ghosts in.”

The win against Tottenham ensured Chelsea returned to the Premier League top four with 52 points from 30 games.

Enzo Maresca’s side are behind the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Nottingham Forest on the Premier League table.

Chelsea’s next game is against Brentford on Sunday.
