A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Kano, Rabi’u Bichi, has congratulated President Bola Tinubu on his 73rd birthday, saying the President’s exceptional courage and unwavering commitment to national development have been a source of inspiration to him.

Bichi, who is the Managing Director of Hadejia Jama’are River Basin Development Authority, also wished Tinubu a happy Eid-el-Fitr, praying for Tinubu’s good health and wisdom, as he joined millions of Nigerians to celebrate the President who turned 73 on Saturday.

“On behalf of the management and staff of the Hadejia Jama’are River Basin Development Authority, I extend our warmest congratulations to you on the joyous occasion of your 73rd birthday. Your visionary leadership, unwavering commitment to national development, and dedication to the progress of Nigeria continue to inspire us all.

“As you celebrate this milestone, we acknowledge your tireless efforts in leading our great nation, Nigeria. Your dedication to the well-being and prosperity of our citizens is truly commendable. We pray that Almighty Allah grants you good health, wisdom, and many more years of impactful service to our beloved nation.

“May this new year of your life be filled with joy, peace and continued success. We pray that the Almighty Allah bless you with the strength to continue leading our nation towards greater heights,” Bichi said.


The APC chieftain noted that it is Tinubu’s rare qualities of vision and unusual dedication to duty that have made him excel in all the leadership positions he has held.

He advised that anyone, especially the youth, who aspires to be future leaders, should emulate Tinubu.

Bichi said he has known Tinubu as a visionary leader with exceptional courage right from his early time as a democracy advocate, to when he became senator and then Lagos state governor and now as President of the country.

He also noted that it was for his courageous efforts and vision that Tinubu has taken bold decisions, such as the granting of local government autonomy and the removal of oil subsidy, to revive the nation’s economy and provide security of lives and property.

He emphasised it was the President’s resilience, determination, courage and above all, vision, that he declared a state of emergency in Rivers to return the state to peace and stability.
