About the Scholarship:
The Helmut Veith Stipend is awarded annually in memory of Professor Helmut Veith (1971–2016), a pioneer in logic in computer science, verification, software engineering, and computer security. Veith was a dedicated mentor for women in STEM and strongly advocated for their representation in technical disciplines.

The stipend offers financial assistance and a tuition fee waiver to outstanding female students who wish to join one of TU Wien’s English-taught Master’s programs in Computer Science.

Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Helmut Veith Stipend 2025, candidates must meet the following conditions:

Be female
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or an equivalent field

Show interest in one or more areas of Helmut Veith’s research
Be admitted (or planning to apply) to an English-language Computer Science Master’s program at TU Wien
Academic Requirements During the Program:
